SoulMade Tweed II is spun from 100% mulesing-free merino wool and milled at a family-run wool mill in Italy. It has body and fullness, while retaining the lightness, flexibility and lively tweed surface at the heart of the SoulMade concept.

The result of years of expertise and craftsmanship, SoulMade Tweed II offers beautiful stitch definition and a fabric that feels exceptionally soft and light against the skin, with just the right amount of substance for sweaters, cardigans and everyday knits. Sus Gepard's expertise in handspinning has been central to its development, creating a yarn with soul, movement and life.

SoulMade Tweed II is remarkably adaptable. The fibres bloom beautifully when blocked, allowing you to work across a wide range of needle sizes.

One of the key intentions was to create a two-ply tweed that works beautifully for cable knitting. The result is clear structure while remaining light, soft and comfortable against the skin.

Sizing up your needles creates a lighter, softer and more fluid fabric while using less yarn, making it possible to create luxurious garments while keeping the overall yarn cost down.

It is recommended to make and wash a swatch before starting your project to find the ideal texture and gauge.
