BRICK & MORTAR ACCESSIBILITY

FRONT ENTRANCE

The shop's front entrance is on a raised sidewalk, with a concrete ramp for anyone who uses a mobility aid or those who need help overcoming high steps. 

We do not have an automatic door at this time, but we are more than happy to hold it open for you while you enter and exit.

PARKING

We have a free parking lot directly outside of the shop. At this time, we do not have spaces that are specifically marked as accessible, but all spaces are available to customers/visitors.

SHOP LEVELS

A portion of our stock is on display on the lower level of the shop, which is only accessible by stairs with a handrail.

We accommodate visitors by bringing up anything needed for browsing for anyone with difficulty climbing the stairs.

SHOPPING SPACE

Most of the store has ample space to navigate, however, there are some areas with a bit tighter of a squeeze. If you need us to move something temporarily, or need us to get something you can't access, please let us know. 

RESTROOMS

Our customer restroom is located on the lower level and only accessible via our stairs. 

SERVICE ANIMALS

The Knitting Loft is animal friendly for pets and service animals alike. We just ask that you keep your companions close to you or on a short leash wherever possible.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Our café menu, as well as our entire product catalog, is available online through our web store.

AMBIANCE

We typically play upbeat music for shoppers, however, if you require a quieter atmosphere or a more relaxed sound, please let us know and we are happy to switch the genre or adjust the volume for you.
