Fleece & Flax is a beautiful fingering weight blend of 75% Bluefaced Leicester wool and 25% linen.
Linen is a strong and durable fibre with a lovely hand and body. It resists pilling, dries faster than cotton, and has a natural luster marked by irregular fiber bundles and texture. It also provides excellent thermo-regulating properties, keeping you cool in hot weather and warm in cool weather. Please note that the higher linen content means you may experience some initial shedding during the knitting process however the drape and handle of this yarn after blocking is entirely worth it - it will get softer with every wash and wear!
Note that on occasion skeins may contain one to two knots. This is part of the spinning and skeining process and is not a defect. Knots can be hidden by undoing them and spit-splicing the ends, or by reattaching with an invisible knot method such as the magic knot or Russian join.
