Daruma - Sashiko Samplers

DARUMA's classic Sashiko Samplers are easy to make by simply stitching according to the printed pattern. This product has been a DARUMA staple for many years and was updated in 2021 with even better materials, designs, and a guide in English on how to get started. From traditional patterns to one-stitch patterns, the sashiko samplers make the best use of sashiko threads.

Sashiko Samplers are perfect as dish towels, napkins, or as an outer wrapping for homemade gifts. Each pattern is printed on durable kitchen cloth fabric (sarashi) that can be washed off after finishing. In other words, do not wash or steam until you finish stitching, or the pattern will be lost!

Grid Guides 10G5 & 12G5: Marked clearly at 5mm increments with darker indications for 10cm. Perfect for unleashing your creativity and designing your very own sashiko patterns! (Available in White or Navy.)

Shop Sashiko Needles to complete your project. You'll need approximately 25-30m of thread (each sold separately).
