Superwash Yarns

'Superwash' is a fibre that has been treated or processed in a way that allows it to be machine washable, and therefore, will not felt. This makes Superwash yarns especially perfect for makers who want to throw their projects in the wash, or give them away to loved ones! 

Keep in mind, Superwash stretches far more easily than non-superwash yarns, therefore, care should be taken to not over stretch them while they're laying flat to dry. 

When washing any wools, even superwash-treated ones, please use a detergent specifically formulated for washing wool, to avoid damage from harsh enzymes in detergents formulated for cotton and synthetics. You can find our recommended wool washes and other handy supplies here.
