Kit Couture - Langøya Dress Kit

We are so excited to introduce Danish brand Kit Couture to TKL! Kit Couture's ambition is to create designs for knitting, crochet, and embroidery which are exciting and innovative. At the same time, they want to motivate those who have not previously crafted to get started and get the feeling of creative joy and insight into an exciting universe. Knit your own dress! The Langøya Dress is a fun project to knit with its many mixed yarns and colours.

The Langøya Dress is knitted in stripes in a mix of Kit Couture's luxurious Kid Mohair, the wonderful Silk Linen, and the soft Merino yarn - combined in eight matching colours.

The Kit Contains: Pattern, yarn, tapestry needle, label

Materials & Techniques:

YARN
Merino (80% merino and 20% nylon), Silk Linen (30% silk and 70% linen ) and Kid Mohair (70% super kid mohair and 30% mulberry silk)

KNITTING DIRECTION AND TECHNIQUE
Top-down, stripes

TOOLS
2.5 mm (40 cm), 3.5 and 4.5 mm (80 cm) circular needles. Remember to order the needles as they are not included in the kit.

GAUGE SWATCH
It's always recommended to do a gauge swatch before commencing your project to get the correct tension and, thereby, the right fit.

The Langøya Dress has a classic fit. A positive ease of 5-10cm is recommended.
