Kit Couture - Disko T-Shirt Kit

We are so excited to introduce Danish brand Kit Couture to TKL! Kit Couture's ambition is to create designs for knitting, crochet, and embroidery which are exciting and innovative. At the same time, they want to motivate those who have not previously crafted to get started and get the feeling of creative joy and insight into an exciting universe. The Disko T-shirt is worked top down. The two-colour cast on for the neck rib is a lovely detail. To achieve the best possible fit, you’ll work German short rows on the back after finishing the yoke.

KNITTING DIRECTION AND TECHNIQUE
Top-down, fair isle

TOOLS
3 mm (40 cm), 3.5 mm (60 cm) and 3.5 mm (80 cm) circular needles. If you are not knitting with the "magic loop" technique, you will also need to use double pointed needles 3 mm and 3.5 mm. Remember to order needles as they are not included in the kit.

GAUGE SWATCH
It's always recommended to do a gauge swatch before commencing your project, to get the right tension and thereby the right fit.

The Disco T-Shirt has a classic fit. A positive ease of 5-10 cm is recommended.
